The Gatemaster GRS is a gate tether – a simple but essential safety device. It has been designed to prevent gates falling over if a hinge fails. The British Standard BS EN 12604 recommends using a gate tether on gates to help prevent serious accidents. You install the restrainer by drilling a 13mm hole into the gate and the post, and slotting the end stops into position as shown in this video guide.
